All Bitcoin transactions are stored on the publicly accessible blockchain. Transactions do not include the sender’s or receiver’s name; instead, they show wallet addresses, balances, and transfer history.

Initially, a wallet address is not tied to your identity. However, once someone knows your address, they can view your balance and past transactions.

To reduce this exposure, you can use BtcMix — a service that uses Bitcoin’s native CoinJoin mixing method.

CoinJoin combines multiple payments from multiple spenders into a single transaction, making it significantly harder for outside observers to determine which input paid which output.

You can think of it like a group putting cash into a shared wallet before shopping: everyone ultimately spends their own value, but the specific bills each person uses are mixed.
